The main aim of the support group is to make our community aware of different cancers, provide basic counseling, signposting for cancer information and assist in claiming benefits.

I am pleased to say that we have had a busy and wonderful year. As people are still not aware of help and support available to them - we have not been able to help individuals on direct basis. However on a positive note we had a lot of interest from the community when there were speakers / or presentations at meeting - therefore it has been quite rewarding experience for people gathering information on different cancers.
